The Lexus Electrified vision represents our commitment to a future of enhanced performance through electrification.

Through technologies such as Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and Plug-In Hybrid electric vehicles  (PHEV), Lexus delivers a seamless balance of power and efficiency. These systems intelligently combine petrol and electric power while regenerative braking captures energy that would otherwise be lost improving overall efficiency, particularly in urban environments, and enabling extended electric-only driving capability where applicable and improving overall efficiency, particularly in urban environments.

Marking a significant step in this journey, the introduction of the All-Electric (BEV) Lexus RZ in 2023 represented Lexus’ first purpose-built battery electric vehicle, designed to deliver a uniquely Lexus driving signature in an all-electric format. Building on this momentum, an upgraded RZ is set to arrive in May 2026, further advancing performance, technology, and electrification capability.
