Lexus Australia to launch ultra exclusive RZ 600e F Sport Performance flagship
Lexus Australia is set to launch its most powerful production EV ever with the flagship RZ 600e F Sport Performance due to arrive in Australia in the fourth quarter of this year.
Priced from $135,0001, the RZ 600e F Sport Performance will be one of the most exclusive Lexus models ever offered, with just nine examples expected for Australian customers from a global production run of fewer than 200 vehicles.
The new RZ 600e F Sport Performance model is the pinnacle of the Lexus RZ range and joins the new RZ 550e F Sport and upgraded RZ 500e Luxury and Sports Luxury models launched earlier this year.
Lexus Australia Chief Executive Jack Hobbs said the new RZ 600e F Sport Performance represents a bold new benchmark for Lexus electrification.
“The RZ 600e F Sport Performance is unlike anything we have offered before,” Mr Hobbs said.
“As our most powerful production EV to date, it showcases the thrilling possibilities of electrification, seamlessly blending dynamic performance with the luxury, sophistication and refinement expected of Lexus.”

While the RZ 600e F Sport Performance shares the same 77kWh lithium-ion battery and 167kW/268.6Nm front and rear electric motors with the RZ 550e F Sport model, retuning of the powertrain has enabled Lexus to boost power by 13kW to a maximum output of 313kW, that drives through the DIRECT4 all-wheel drive system.
As the most powerful Lexus EV, the RZ 600e F Sport Performance can cover 0-100km/h in just 4.4 seconds with the battery offering a driving range of up to 420km on the WLTP test cycle2.
To make the most of the enhanced performance, Lexus has further improved agility and handling with the RZ 600e F Sport Performance featuring a 20mm lower ride height compared to its RZ siblings, and front and rear performance dampers and unique spring rates for the front MacPherson strut and rear double wishbone suspension.
Outstanding braking performance is provided by larger 400mm ventilated disc brakes with fixed six-piston blue painted aluminium monobloc calipers at the front and 317mm ventilated discs at the rear.
Complementing its performance powertrain, the RZ 600e F Sport Performance features an array of bespoke styling cues with large 21-inch matte black ENKEI®10 alloy wheels wrapped with low-profile 255/40R21 front and 295/35R21 rear tyres housed within unique wheelarch mouldings.
To showcase its performance credentials and provide greater aerodynamic efficiency, the F Sport Performance grade also features unique carbon front lip spoiler, bumper and grille, vented bonnet moulding, rear bumper, diffuser and spoiler, and side rocker and door mouldings.
These stylish aerodynamic enhancements were developed in collaboration with Yoshihide Muroya, a world-class air race pilot, and racing driver Masahiro Sasaki, to ensure their effectiveness and maximise driver enjoyment of the Lexus Driving Signature. Simply put, the Lexus Driving Signature is designed to deliver control, comfort and driver confidence in the vehicle’s behaviour at all times: whatever the road, whatever the journey, you feel at one with your car.
Available in Neutrino Grey two-tone, the flagship RZ 600e F Sport Performance can also be specified with an exclusive optional Hakugin white matte two-tone paint finish11.
Inside, the new F Sport Performance grade highlights its flagship status with Ultrasuede®3 upholstery for the heavily-bolstered sports front seats, instrument panel and door trim, and a unique shift-by-wire transmission shift knob.
Together with the RZ 550e F Sport, the F Sport Performance features the new yoke-style steering wheel that marries with a steer-by-wire system providing tighter, more responsive steering with clear visibility of the instrument cluster and the road ahead.
The new steering yoke integrates paddle shifters for the Lexus Interactive Manual Drive with drivers able to shift through eight simulated gears that emulate the throttle feeling, G-forces, engine sounds and tachometer display of a traditional internal combustion engine.
To ensure the highest levels of luxury and comfort, the RZ 600e F Sport Performance also features heated and ventilated power front seats, heated outboard rear seats, dual-zone climate control, smart entry and start, 14-inch touchscreen multimedia display with wireless Apple CarPlay®4 and Android Auto™5, wireless phone charger6, and a 13-speaker Mark Levinson®7 audio system.
Safety is enhanced with the latest generation Lexus Safety Sense8 driver assistance technologies with further safety and convenience features provided by Lexus Connected Services9.
Given the highly exclusive nature of the RZ 600e F Sport Performance, Lexus Australia has selected eight of its 31 dealerships from across the country to showcase the vehicle and manage expressions of interest from prospective customers.
