ES 300h with Lane Trace Assist (LTA)² and Lane Keep Assist (LKA)²

When driving on highways, freeways and on roads with white or yellow edge lines, LKA alerts the driver of possible lane or road deviations. When possible deviation is detected, it displays a caution and prompts steering input from the driver. When Radar Active Cruise Control² is in use, LTA can also help to keep the vehicle in the centre of the lane with smooth and steady movements, and tracks the preceding vehicle, even if it’s difficult to detect the lane’s edge lines.

Road Sign Assist (RSA)²

RSA utilises the front camera to detect regulatory speed signs, and displays them on the multi-information and head-up displays. Colours on the displays are inverted when the driver has exceeded the speed limit. RSA works in conjunction with the Radar Active Cruise Control² by allowing the driver to instantly switch cruise set speed up or down when entering a new speed zone.

Adaptive High-Beam System²

Available on F Sport and Sports Luxury grades, the system is designed to detect the headlamps of oncoming vehicles, tail lamps of preceding vehicles, and brightness of the surrounding area. If the system detects a vehicle within the area illuminated by the high beams, it is designed to disable or enable 24 LEDs on each side to minutely adjust lit and unlit areas, optimising light distribution. By partially blocking light from the high-beam headlamps so they don’t directly project onto a preceding or oncoming vehicle, the system helps contribute to safe driving at night².

Radar Active Cruise Control²

In addition to maintaining a constant speed, Radar Active Cruise Control² uses the radar and camera sensors to detect a vehicle driving ahead and is designed to maintain an appropriate distance between vehicles.

Blind Spot Monitor System²

When the rear bumper radars detect vehicles in adjacent lanes not visible in the door mirrors, the system activates an LED warning indicator in the relevant door mirror when a vehicle enters this blind spot. Available on Sports Luxury, F Sport and Luxury + Enhancement Pack grades.

PARKING SUPPORT BRAKE (PKSB)²

Using intelligent clearance sonars (ICS)², Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)², and Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)², you are provided with a comprehensive support system designed to help mitigate collisions that commonly occur during parking maneuvres.

ICS and Rear Camera Detection will detect when a collision with a stationary object or pedestrian is imminent, alerting you to take action. If action is not taken in time, the PKSB system is designed to reduce drive force and apply brake force to mitigate a collision.

Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)²

To help check areas surrounding the vehicle that are difficult to see from the driver’s seat, the system shows a bird’s-eye view of the vehicle in real time on the 12.3-inch EMV display, using a composite image taken by cameras mounted on the front, sides, and rear of the vehicle². Available in Sports Luxury, F Sport and Luxury + Enhancement Pack grades.
