An eye-catching F Sport Design Special Edition has joined the popular and stylish Lexus UX urban SUV range.
The UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition - in local showrooms from mid-April priced from $58,120 plus on-road costs1 - continues the Lexus approach of making luxury personal with exclusive variants to suits the tastes of Lexus customers.
Limited to just 250 units, the UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition is available exclusively with a front-drive hybrid powertrain and adds a touch of flair with unique exterior and interior enhancements.
In this case, the UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition stands apart with bespoke front and rear bumpers, grille, 18-inch wheels with run-flat tyres and an F-Sport Design badge.
It also gains black roof rails and exterior mirror caps, body-coloured wheel arches and, for the first time on UX, a two-tone roof.
Inside, the special variant adds moon roof, colour head-up display and smart key card for even greater comfort and convenience.
Six exclusive two-tone exterior colour finishes are available for UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition: White Nova, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, Caliente, Carnelian and Cobalt Mica.2
NuLuxe leather-accented upholstery can be finished in Black or White Ash hues, paired with high-quality Washi paper ornamentation.
In building upon the already strong specification of the UX 250h 2WD Luxury + EP2, the F Sport Design Special Edition comes standard with wireless phone charger3, heated seats with eight-way adjustable driver's seat and power tailgate. These items are in-lieu of alloy scuff plates, illuminated entry and tyre repair kit. A full suite of active safety technologies4 is standard.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen display pairs with a 7.0-inch multi-information display to project the latest Lexus multimedia system, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay5, wired Android Auto6 and DAB+ digital radio7.
Power for the UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition comes from Lexus Hybrid Drive which teams a 2.0-litre petrol engine and electric motor on the front axle for smooth, responsive and efficient propulsion.
With 107kW/188Nm from the petrol engine and 80kW/202Nm from the electric motor, combined peak power output is 135kW, with an average combined fuel consumption of 4.5 litres per 100km.
Like the rest of the UX range that received an update last September, UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition offers complimentary Lexus Connected Services8, affording owners greater security and peace of mind.
Using the Lexus Connected smartphone app9, owners can access a range of information and services relating to their vehicle, and can even perform functions such as locking and unlocking the vehicle remotely10.
A three-year subscription to the Lexus Encore owner benefits program is included; offering capped-price servicing, 24-hour roadside assistance, complimentary loan vehicles when your car is being serviced, and a wealth of other owner benefits.11
