LEXUS DESIGN PAVILION 2016
The Lexus Design Pavilion, heralded as the emblem of luxury at the exclusive birdcage at the Melbourne Cup, returns in 2016 for a three-day collaboration of exquisite design, opulent dining and luxuriant hospitality.
Sustainable artist Joost Bakker returns, this time alongside Inside, Etic, a design studio established by Emilie Delalande and Lexus Ambassador, Henry Wilson, with a sensory, experiential masterpiece guided by the theme 'Anticipation'. The theme draws inspiration from the brand's luxury exhibit for the design industry's elite at the Salone del Mobile in Milan last April.
Lexus guests will enjoy three newly-designed levels complete with terraces, views of the racecourse and glass louvres, offering the most imaginative sensory stimulations.
PIN & WIN
For the seventh year in a row, Lexus and the Melbourne Cup Community Fund proudly presented the Pin & Win campaign to raise funds for Starlight Children's Foundation. This charity is dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill children and their families by providing a fun-filled, medical-free environment, where pain, fear and stress is replaced with fun, joy and laughter. All proceeds from Pin & Win went towards the Starlight Express Room at the Royal Children's Hospital and will help bring joy to 15,000 seriously ill children.
Lexus donated the major prize of a Lexus NX 200t F Sport and the winner was drawn on Stakes Day, November 7, 2015.
